Homeward Bound

Having now left Keele for the Easter break, I now write to you from my hometown in Chelmsford, Essex. So scary to think how quickly these past few weeks have gone and that I’m am now nearing the end of my first year at university… ok premature midlife crisis over.
My last few days at Keele were really impressively uninteresting. With everyone else in my block having already gone home, I planned to spend the time I had getting ahead on my assignments, but I rarely achieved getting up before 1pm. I dragged out my days going for walks (well,I went for one walk) and watching old disney animations (The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Song of the South (half-animated)) - it’s amazing how little I remember from when I was younger.
Ok looking back, I understand that it perhaps wasn’t the most productive weekend I’ve ever had.
So I was pleased to be back down south where don’t people criticise me for the way I pronounce some words -bath, path, grass etc - where I don’t get called an ‘Essex Slag’ at every opportunity by a 19 year Manchunian Medical student (not saying any names) and where the combination of curry and chips still baffles people.
Most beautiful sunny day today too, really hope the weather lasts for mega catch up with the best mate tomorrow at  nandos - hello my name is Sophie, it’s been 6 months since my last nandos - god I miss that place.
Not a lot left to say really, excited to be heading back up north this weekend and then seeing my friends when they return from university next week.
If anything mildly interesting happens, I’ll let you know.
Bugden, out
